CritiCall Ontario also provides assistance to hospital-based physicians in border provinces who are caring for Ontario patients.<\/p>\n<p>To access this support, call our Call Centre at <strong>1-800-668-4357 (HELP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>One of our Call Agents will collect basic contact information from you and additional information about your patient\u2019s care requirements. The Call Agent will then use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criticall.org\/our-systems-data\/provincial-hospital-resource-system\/\">Provincial Hospital Resource System<\/a>, which contains an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criticall.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/PHRS-Service-Inventory-Off-Cycle-Change-Request-Form-2016.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inventory of services and resources<\/a> at acute care hospitals, to locate a hospital and physician specialist to provide you with a consultation and accept your patient into care if deemed necessary.<\/p>\n<p>If your patient is confirmed through consultation, and in accordance with the updated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/page\/ontario-life-or-limb-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Provincial Life or Limb Policy<\/a>, to be at risk of losing life or limb and requires transfer to a higher level of care within approximately four hours, CritiCall Ontario will further assist hospitals by facilitating transport coordination.<\/p>\n<p>CritiCall Ontario has created several documents to help you use our Call Centre service as effectively as possible.
